When are Malaysia fuel prices updated?
The Ministry of Finance publishes official fuel prices weekly. The price board shows the latest effective date, and every point in the chart represents one weekly release.
What do market and BUDI prices mean?
The market price is the unsubsidised pump rate. Eligible motorists pay the BUDI price for litres within their monthly programme quota.
How are monthly fuel savings calculated?
We compare your market-price cost with the BUDI cost for litres inside the selected quota. Litres above the quota use the market price.
Can another driver use a BUDI Diesel allocation?
An eligible registered owner may transfer vehicle-based BUDI Diesel eligibility to up to three approved actual users, including non-family members, subject to the number of registered vehicles. Each recipient receives their own shared RON95/diesel allocation based on the assigned vehicle and may receive from only one owner. Each vehicle can be transferred once, subject to official exceptions. Submit by the 27th for the next month, subject to approval; applications still pending on 15 September 2026 must be resubmitted. This estimate does not determine eligibility or multiply your quota by vehicle count.
